| Bailey Racing has
been utilising and building on the performance of the Birel go-kart since 1996. Impressed by the way the karts handle and in particular the trackside assistance received over this time prompted us, to pass on our good fortune to others and decided to support the product that we believe will help others to achieve the placings that everyone is out to get. We decided to get together with the importer of "Birel" karts and become a distributor, thus South Sydney Birel was created. One of the first things that we wanted to do, was to set up a showroom where the product could be displayed. We knew that this was not an easy task and would take about 2 months of hard work. I am sure that the effort put into this showroom was well worth the effort, as the end result was quite impressive. The reaction from many of our customer's first visit to the shop has proven this. CLICK HERE FOR SHOW ROOM IMAGE The shop was officially opened on the 1st of July 1998 with great success. Business proved to be good in the opening weeks with many visitors coming to have a look. Since then we have never looked back. The kart shop is fully equipped with various models of karts that are currently available, along with spares for current models, previous models, and many other interchangeable parts with most other brands of karts. * 'Plastic' is stocked in 4 different colours : white, blue, red and yellow. Other colours can be ordered if required. * Sprockets are available in two varieties of pricquality: Scorpion & Freeline. * Extensive range of MIR & Sparco racewear, including team apparel. * Nolan helmets. * Tillett products, including race seats, Rib-Tec's and Rib-Tec harnesses. * Tyres. * Complete range of capped and countersunk nuts, bolts, and washers. * Oils and lubricants. * Cleaning sprays, i.e. Carby clean, brakeclean, etc. We also have a repair shop available for any jobs that require repairs, or simply for a maintenance check. We are very proud to advise that we at South Sydney Birel have a maintenance program set up for karts of customers, that simply do not have the time to spend on the upkeep of their karts.
